I started watching the show a few days ago, and I can't get enough of it! Those classic phrases "I know what we're gonna do today!", "You are gonna be so busted!", "Whatcha doing?", and "Doofenschmirtz Evil Incorporated" are now well-stuck in my mind. It's what I've needed to get out of my funk.
I'm sorry, people, but I have lost - for the time being - my desire to do cartoons. I don't know if it is depression from the move, leaving my job of 18 years, or the realization that my wife and I are alone in the house. I just don't have the motivation to do cartoons. I am sincerely sorry.
Well, I'm here in the State of Arkansas, and settling in (meaning getting used to the heat and humidity whilst moving the furniture out of the U-Haul van). I should be getting back up to speed shortly.
For the next few days, I will be incommunicado as my wife and I make the final move from California to Arkansas (long drive with the moving van). I know that I have a few requests to fulfil, but the move has to take priority. Once we're settled in at the new address, I'll start getting the pics done.
Well, the final memorial service for my son has been concluded. Now the long process of healing must begin. Maureen and I have a ways to go before we can truthfully say that was have recovered from the trauma of Jared's death. The one good thing that has come out of all this are the expressions of support that we have received. The outpouring of affection and condolence has been incredible, and this has done much to help Maureen and myself through these last two months. To those here on Deviantart.com who have kept in touch with me - especially Karen and Jake - I want to say "Thank you for being there".
